Today, Rhian and I are working with two pups to expand on why foundational work is so important.  We'll show you some ways to get started with leash breaking your pup, then move on to getting started with an e collar and how that works.

Today, I'm getting a pup introduced to a leash and using a few distractions to help with the process.  I'll show you some things that typically happen during leash breaking and how I work through them and some tips to make the process easier.

​After a request this past week for how I teach a "down" with a check cord, I put together a video showing that with a Beau x Rev pup, "Bull".

• I'll show you the process I go through to get the "down" and transition to "There"
• Rhian's done the legwork with Bull, so we will see how he does with a different handler
• I'll explain what I call "micro corrections"​
• What I use for my check cord
• How to use your paddle in a way that creates less pressure on your pup

In today's video, we'll talk about what you can do to correct aggressive behavior, if you're having that issue with your dog.  Rhian's been having a problem with her dog growling and snapping at other dogs and just owning the space. 

Beau's 4 years old now, so the problem began since she started having puppies and it's snowballed for Rhian where she can't trust her, so we're going to build Rhian's trust in the dog, so we can trust Beau around other dogs and pups.

One of the most important commands for your dog is "Lie Down".  In today's video, I am working with Misfit because her "Down" is weak and so I'll share with you today how to improve your "Down" and see if we can get closer to a rock solid "Lie Down" on Misfit in the process.
